Wellingborough has three free car parks marked P1, P2, P3 on the map.
All are only a few minutes walk from Burystead Place, where unfortunately we have no parking.
There is a small one-way system in central Wellingborough which passes the end of Burystead Place (pedestrian only at that end).
Burystead Place runs alongside the Hind Hotel and leads into a path past a medieval tithe barn and into the Morrisons car park. The Hind Hotel is on the left as you come up the hill which is a continuation of London Road.

From M1 North
Leave at Junction 19, take A14 for about 22 miles towards and round Kettering and then take A509 South to Wellingborough.
At roundabout on outskirts of Wellingborough go straight on towards town centre.
After traffic lights in about a mile watch for left fork towards town centre at triangular green.
Go down High Street, watch for sign in 200 yards or so for High Street car park (off Jacksons Lane) on the right (P2 on map).
Park here and walk down High Street (becomes Silver St) cross Oxford Street and turn right into Burystead Place before the Hind Hotel.
Bairstow Eves estate agent is on the other corner. BFA is the third building on the right in Burystead Place.

From M1 South
Leave M1 at junction 14 and take A509 North via Olney, Wellingborough is signposted. After about 18 miles go under A45 and follow signs for Wellingborough town centre (passing Tesco).
After two sets of traffic lights see sign to Swansgate car park on right in Commercial Way (P1 on map).
Park here and either walk up Sheep Street (London Road's name has changed to this) or go through the Swansgate centre and turn left at the exit.
Both ways take only a few minutes and will lead to the Hind Hotel and Macdonalds - Burystead Place is beside the Hind Hotel, and BFA is the third building on the right.

From M40 and M1 Junction 15A
From M40 take A43 from junction 10 past Silverstone towards M1 and Northampton.
Pass under M1 at junction 15A. At first roundabout (about 1 mile) turn right following A45 East, signposted Wellingborough and Cambridge.
Go through various sets of lights and roundabouts following signs to Wellingborough and/or A45 East for about 14 miles to a roundabout signposted to the right "Wellingborough and Cambridge" and to the left "A509 Kettering, Corby and Wellingborough West".
You should take the left turn towards Corby and Kettering and Wellingborough West and not the right.
(If you miss this turn continue to the next exit and join the A509 from Milton Keynes into Wellingborough from the south i.e. follow directions from M1 South).
After about ½ mile down the A509 there is a roundabout with Sainsburys facing you - turn right here in front of Sainsburys towards town centre along Northampton Road.
Follow signs for town centre through traffic lights, fork slightly right at mini-roundabout, still towards town centre and still on Northampton Road.
After a second mini-roundabout and tyre/exhaust workshops look for right turn into Sharman Road signposted for Morrisons Supermarket.
Park in Morrisons car park (P3 on map) and at far end walk past medieval tithe barn into Burystead Place - BFA is on left before estate agents.
Morrisons now seem to enforce a three-hour limit. A meeting break can normally be arranged in long meetings to enable visitors to move cars if necessary.
