Fashion Export Awards

The Fashion Export Awards were held in London on May 13 and, for the first time, there was a dedicated Footwear category. There were three finalists - all BFA Members - Esska Design (run by Souraya Karami), Miss L Fire (owner Lynsey Hand) and the eventual winner, LXY brands represented by Lorena and Ian O'Connor. Many congratulations to all these companies for their much deserved recognition and public approval for their export successes However, particular congratulations to Barker Shoes Ltd for winning the Gold Award for Outstanding Export Achievement (across all categories). A great day for the footwear industry and for BFA members generally.
