Newcastle United Football Club formed in 1892 and they have played at their home ground, St James's Park, since then. Based in the North East of England, the club's arch rivals are Sunderland FC and when these two teams play against each other, the fixture is commonly referred to as the Tyne-Wear derby. The clubs' home colours are black shorts with a striped black and white shirt. The kit manufacturer is Puma and the main club sponsor is Virgin Money (2012/13).
