Arsenal Football Club formed in 1886 and their home ground, the Emirates Stadium, is based in Holloway, London. Before this, Arsenal played their home games at Highbury. The club has won the FA Cup on ten separate occasions, as well as the League Cup, the European Cup Winners' Cup and the FA Community Shield. Arsenal's home colours are generally white shorts and bright red shirts that have white sleeves. The kit is manufactured by Nike and their main club sponsor is Emirates.

Emirates is currently recognised as one of the world's fastest growing international airlines. Towards the end of 2012, Arsenal FC announced that they had clinched a new multi-million pound five-year sponsorship deal with Emirates worth £150 million. This means that Emirates will continue being their sponsor until the end of the 2018/19 season.

Since it began sponsoring clubs, Emirates has notched up an impressive portfolio of partners, including the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan and also Real Madrid. Emirates has been sponsoring Arsenal since 2004 and back then, the lucrative deal meant that Emirates will have their name on the new stadium up until 2028.

Emirates is a world-class brand and their planes transport passengers to approximately 120 different destinations across the world. This new deal with Emirates will earn Arsenal a total of £30 million a year for a period of five years.
